The above article was found in The Anniston Star, from June 5, 1949.   It was titled: "Activities Of Colored People Of Anniston."  Like many other newspapers of the time, This article details black life in that community.  Near the end of this section, details were written about the Graduation Exercises at Cobb Avenue High School in Anniston.  It becomes apparent that Cobb High also has a "Veterans Class" among which Wilkie Clark was one of its students.
