In this August 9, 1988 article, Wilkie Clark was among 20 residents — black and white — contacted by The Anniston Star newspaper to comment on a speech given by Presidential Candidate George Bush.  In usual form, he commented matter-of-factly voicing his opinion along with 19 others who shared their distaste or liking of Bush based on the speech he delivered.
