The piece above merely serves as but one (1) example of the many annual Published Voting Lists, as was practiced years ago.  In 1958, both Mr. and Mrs. Clark's names routinely appeared on Randolph County's published registered voter's lists.   It is believed that during that time, voters had to "re-identify" periodically, and their names then would be published in a list in the newspaper, also designating their polling place.

The artifact that appears on this page, is simply a hand-written note from Roy Terry, to Wilkie Clark, reminding of a meeting to continue their push toward getting Blacks appointed as Deputy Voter Registrars.
